Lavrov called Kyiv's statements about Russia's shelling of their own cities a lie

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov responded to Ukraine's statements that Russia itself allegedly shells its cities in order to stop the supply of weapons to Kyiv. He said that such statements are lies.

    “In short, they lie. And the facts are well known, these facts are presented by our Ministry of Defense on a daily basis,” he commented at a press conference following talks with Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, announced the intentional shelling of Kursk and Belgorod by Ukraine.
