The Federal Security Service of Russia opened a criminal case because of the call for an armed rebellion.
According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC), the allegations spread on behalf of Yevgeny Prigozhin have no basis, a case has been opened on the fact of calling for an armed rebellion.
"In connection with these statements, the FSB of Russia initiated a criminal case on the fact of calling for an armed rebellion. We demand that illegal actions be stopped immediately," the NAC said.
Earlier on Friday, the Ministry of Defense said that all information disseminated on behalf of Yevgeny Prigozhin about "strike" on the rear camps of PMC "Wagner" is not true. The defense department called these messages an informational provocation.
They also stressed that Russian troops continue to carry out combat missions on the line of contact with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the special operation.

Ранее в пятницу Министерство обороны заявило, что вся информация, распространяемая от имени Евгения Пригожина, об "ударах" по тыловым лагерям ЧВК "Вагнер" не соответствует действительности. Оборонное ведомство назвало эти сообщения информационной провокацией.

После заявлений основателя ЧВК «Вагнер» Евгения Пригожина возбуждено дело о призыве к вооруженному мятежу. Об этом в пятницу, 23 июня, заявили в Национальном антитеррористическом комитете (НАК).

«В связи с этими заявлениями ФСБ России возбуждено уголовное дело по факту призыва к вооруженному мятежу. Требуем немедленно прекратить противоправные действия», — сообщили в НАК.

Earlier, Prigozhin’s Telegram channel published several audio messages. In particular, Prigozhin claimed that his units were hit with airstrikes, accusing Russia’s military leadership. In this regard, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) initiated a criminal case over charges of call for an armed rebellion.
