Ambassador Antonov called a shame for the United States to support the Nazi regime in Ukraine

Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said on July 5 that the United States has dishonored itself by supporting the Ukrainian Nazi regime. Thus, he commented on the stay of representatives of the radical nationalist group "Azov" (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) in the country.

“One cannot look indifferently at how the heirs of Hitler and Bandera are honored in the country that contributed to the defeat of Nazi Germany,” Antonov was quoted as saying by the Telegram channel of the diplomatic mission.

As the ambassador noted, this is a real betrayal of the Americans who gave their lives in the fight against the Nazis.

He also drew attention to the performance of terrorists within the walls of Stanford University.

“The question arises: what vision of the world do they want to instill in young Americans and foreign students studying here? The duty of humanity is to resist the glorification of Nazism with all its might,” Antonov said.

In addition, according to the diplomat, there are absurd laws in the United States, such as bans on holding commemorative events against the Nazi regime.
