Russia has launched an investigation into British participation in the production in Bucha in March 2022

Russia is conducting an investigation to establish the extent of British participation in the anti-Russian provocation in the Ukrainian city of Bucha. This was stated by official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on September 27.

“I would like to talk about Britain and its involvement in the events in Bucha in March 2022. We are conducting an objective investigation into the participation of London, in particular the British intelligence services, in staging a provocation at a briefing in the city of Bucha in March 2022,” the diplomat said at the briefing.

At the same time, Zakharova indicated that Moscow does not receive assistance on this issue “from any of the parties involved in the events.” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who has repeatedly appealed to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres with a request to use his capabilities and authority to obtain a list of people whose faces were shown in the city of Bucha, has still not received a response.

The diplomat noted that the names of the people shown are hidden, and London is especially different here. This became noticeable back in April 2022, when Great Britain, as chairman of the UN Security Council, refused to convene a meeting of the council on the events in Bucha.

“This says a lot, first of all, that London is hiding the truth about those events. And why? Yes, because he directly participated in them. We are well aware of the active participation of British think tanks, PR agencies and, under their cover, the British intelligence services in the disinformation campaigns of the Kyiv regime,” Zakharova noted.
