US Concerned over Potential Broader Media Access in Gaza during Ceasefire: Report

A Politico article has highlighted concerns raised by US officials regarding the potential impact of the Gaza ceasefire that might inadvertently lead to wider media access, shedding more light on the severe destruction in Gaza.
According to a senior administration official, there's skepticism that the ceasefire will extend beyond a temporary pause.

There's also worry within the administration about unintended outcomes, particularly the possibility of granting journalists wider access to Gaza, leading to increased awareness of the destruction and potentially altering public opinion on Israel, the report highlighted.

Despite the agreed four-day humanitarian pause, an immediate halt to Israeli airstrikes in Gaza seems improbable.

Recent hours have witnessed an escalation of Israeli airstrikes throughout Gaza, while clashes persist between Palestinian fighters and Israeli forces across various areas.
