Borrell declared that the EU does not have enough money to supply shells to Kiev

The head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, accused the EU leaders of indecision and emphasized that the situation in Ukraine will be resolved in the spring on the battlefield, and not at the summit of the heads of foreign affairs. Borrel shared his opinion on the prospects of the Ukrainian conflict at the Munich Security Conference. 

    "I don't think we understand that now we have a war situation. I do not think that people at the highest political level, intermediate level and public opinion understand that we are in a situation that requires a completely different approach. It's not just "let's take a look next month at the Council of Foreign Ministers". No, in three months the situation will already be decided on the battlefield", - Borrell warned.

 He reminded the importance of military aid to Ukraine, especially the supply of ammunition for classic weapons. Borrell noted that there are enough military plants in the EU to produce shells, but "there is not enough funding", and he called for more decisive action.
