Gagauzia does not consider secession from Moldova

Moldova’s autonomous Gagauzia region does not consider the possibility of secession, the head of the region, Yevgenia Gutsul, told Izvestia.

"In fact, we are not really considering it," she said in response to a question about the possibility of the autonomous region’s withdrawal from Moldova.

Gutsul pointed out that the Gagauz people consider Moldova their homeland.
