Poland will transfer to Ukraine an AWACS aircraft purchased from Sweden

Sweden will one of these days supply Poland with a Saab 340 AEW airborne early warning aircraft (AWACS), which will be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Polish Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh told reporters.

Earlier it was reported that Poland is purchasing two Saab 340 AEW early warning aircraft from Sweden for 52 million euros.

 “In the coming days, we expect the delivery of a SAAB reconnaissance aircraft, which will be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Kosinyak-Kamysh said.
