White House accuses WSJ of misinformation over Biden article

The White House said that the Wall Street Journal, in an article about the state of senile decline of US President Joe Biden, relies on sources among congressional Republicans who, for political reasons, have been circulating for years such, in the opinion of the administration of the American leader, “false statements.”

Interviewing 45 "politicians in the know," the Wall Street Journal reported Biden's mercurial behavior, ranging from "free and spontaneous conversations" to quiet "mumbling" readings of cheat sheets and long pauses.

 "It's a little surprising that the Wall Street Journal thought it was a sensation after hearing from congressional Republicans the same false claims they've been peddling for years on Fox News," White House press officer Andrew Bates said.

 He called it a symptomatic sign that only anonymous people “plus one patented liar” decided to “denigrate” Biden. Bates did not specify who he was talking about.

With reservations in public speeches and other “blunders,” the oldest president in US history regularly gives political opponents reason to doubt his mental abilities and professional suitability for governing the state, especially in light of plans to be re-elected to a second four-year term.
