The Ukrainian Ambassador was summoned to the Indian Foreign Ministry because of Zelensky's words about Modi

Ukrainian Ambassador Alexander Polishchuk was summoned to the Indian Foreign Ministry due to criticism of the meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the Economic Times, citing sources.

It is noted that New Delhi expressed dissatisfaction with Kyiv’s position regarding the Prime Minister’s visit to Russia on July 8-9. Zelensky called the meeting between Modi and Putin a “huge disappointment” as well as a “crushing blow to peace efforts.”

In this regard, India postponed a joint meeting with Ukraine on culture.

Earlier it was reported that the Indian Prime Minister's visit to Moscow angered Washington. It is noted that American officials tried to prevent this meeting.
