US has provided security assistance to Israel at a “record pace,” US Defense Secretary Llyod Austin told Al Arabiya English on Thursday.
The top official said that the US will continue to ensure that Israel has what it needs to defend itself.
“I will not comment on Netanyahu’s comments for faster weapons shipments, but I am going to stay focused on doing what we’ve done, providing Israel what it needs to be successful,” he said.
