Lifting the ban on strikes by the Kyiv regime with Western weapons on Russian territory could contribute to peacekeeping efforts, European Union head of diplomacy Josep Borrell said on the social network X.
He wrote that next week he will discuss with the heads of the Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Defense of the EU countries increasing support for the Kyiv regime against the backdrop of the attack by Ukrainian troops on the Kursk region.
Borrell stressed that the European Union fully supports Ukraine in the confrontation with Russia.

EU High Representative Josep Borrell stated his support to the Ukrainian invasion in the Kursk Region during the phone call with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba and invited him to attend the informal meeting of EU foreign and defense ministers in Brussels on August 29-30.
