Ukraine’s top commander said on Friday Kyiv’s forces had advanced up to 2 kilometers in its incursion of Russia’s western Kursk region in the past 24 hours.
Oleksandr Syrskyi briefed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy via video link and said Ukrainian forces took control of 5 sq km of Russian territory.
