Israeli airstrikes on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza killed several people on Sunday, including a high-ranking civil defense official, as Israeli forces continued heavy bombardment across the besieged strip, leaving dozens dead in the past 24 hours.
An Israeli airstrike targeted the Morsi family home in the Jabalia camp early Sunday morning. Gaza’s civil defense announced that Mohammad Abdelhay Morsi, its deputy director for north Gaza, was killed along with three of his family members.
