Ukrainian Foreign Ministry summoned an Iranian diplomat over reports of missiles for the Russian Federation

On Monday, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry summoned Iranian Charge d'Affaires Shahriyar Amuzegar.

The diplomat was harshly expressed concern about rumors about military assistance to Russia.

The representative of the Islamic Republic was warned about the possible consequences of transferring short-range ballistic missiles to Moscow. Allegedly, Russia uses them in the special operation zone.

“On September 9, the charge d’affaires of Iran was summoned to the ministry. The Ukrainian side expressed deep concern about reports of a possible supply of ballistic missiles to Russia,” the department said in an official statement.

The rumors were previously spread by the American television channel CNN.
