The Turkish Army announced on Saturday it had killed several Kurdish militia fighters and Islamic State jihadists in various clashes in northwestern Syria.
In a statement, the army said that 20 "terrorists" had been "eliminated" on Friday, including 12 Kurdish combatants and eight IS militants, within Turkey's military "border intervention" in Syria, code-named Operation Euphrates Shield.
