Six French soldiers injured after being struck by car in Paris

Six French soldiers have been injured after they struck by a car in the Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret.


The Paris Police Authority said a police operation is under way in the area and they are searching for the car.

It said two of the soldiers were seriously injured in the incident, while the other four sustained light injuries.

France has been under a state of emergency since November 2015 and has seen a string of attacks on security forces who have been regularly targeted, particularly those guarding key tourist sites.
